Follow ups

When a prospect goes quiet after your reply, DOMS drafts one gentle nudge about 16 hours later by default, for you to approve (or to send, in auto). Under Settings, Follow ups you choose about 4, 8, 12 or 16 hours, and how many: no follow ups, one nudge then leave them be, two nudges where the second waits three times as long and is the last word, or as needed inside the reply window.

• A reply, a booked call or a sale cancels the nudge that is waiting. So does taking the person over, an opt out, a care hold, or marking them Not now.
• Nothing goes out outside Instagram's reply window. Time is reserved for your approval and the scheduled check, so a wait that could never land is refused when you pick it.
• A nudge prefers your daytime and only leaves it when waiting for morning would miss the window.
• A person who has been easing off is not nudged. Two hesitations in a row and DOMS backs off the money talk on its own.
• A nudge DOMS could not word differently from the first arrives with no words, for you to write or discard.
