Resources and keyword replies

A resource is something you give away to start a conversation: a governed link, or a native file you upload (a PDF guide, an image, a video). A rule says when DOMS may send it: which keyword, from where, for which exact Offer version, on which account, and between which dates. No words yet? Draft trigger words and follow up proposes the words people will send and the follow up after the resource lands, from the resource, its Offer, your Brain and your voice, with no price, link or promise in it. You review, then save.

Two request sources

Ordinary DMs, account wide

Anyone who DMs you the exact keyword gets the resource, once per request, inside the open dates. Keywords are literal words or phrases such as GUIDE; there is no fuzzy matching.

DM replies to one exact Story

Only DM replies to that Story, while the Story is current on your account and the Offer is still marked on it. Set it up from the Story page beside the Offer mark.

Saved, enabled, held

Every save stays paused. Enable requests turns a rule on and is unavailable while anything needs review: an ended window, an Offer that is not live, a changed connection, a Story that is gone, a file that is missing. Pause requests is always available. Check saved wording tests a sample DM against the saved keywords without sending anything.

What a delivery looks like

The reply carries the resource as an action bound to the exact rule; the final send checks the rule again in the database. If the Story was cleared or the Offer changed in between, nothing sends and the reason is recorded. A saved or active rule is never a delivery; what was actually sent, and why a reply was held, is in Chats.

A rule can also carry one follow up: your own words and one opening question, with a start and end measured in hours after the whole resource is accepted by Instagram. When that happens, DOMS prepares the follow up inside that window, in your daytime where the window allows, and shows it in the conversation as a draft for your review. It shares the conversation's usual follow up limit, never runs while another follow up is waiting, stops if the person replies first, and nothing sends without your approval. The conversation panel says whether it is scheduled, waiting, held or done, and why.
